Domestic violence and abuse can happen to anyone, yet the problem is often overlooked, excused, or denied. This is especially true when the abuse is psychological, rather than physical. Noticing and acknowledging the signs of an abusive relationship is the first step to ending it. If you recognize yourself or someone you know, reach out now. There is help available. No one should live in fear of the person they love and even one time is too many. If you know someone who needs help please reach out by calling our Barron County Domestic Abuse Advocate Kristy Moran at 715-537-6334 or 911 if the incident is happening now.
