BARRON COUNTY, WI -- The Barron County Sheriff's Office has issued a public notification regarding the release of three convicted sex offenders into the community in December 2024.

The individuals, identified as Keith Heacox, Eric Fankhauser, and Joshua J. Johnson, have served their court-imposed sentences and will be subject to strict supervision and monitoring upon release.

Keith Heacox

  • Age: 64
  • Height: 6’2”
  • Weight: 203 lbs
  • Release Date: December 19, 2024
  • Residence: 1744 12 ¾ St, Barron
  • Convictions:
    • 1st Degree Sexual Assault (10/12/1982)
    • False Imprisonment-Repeater (05/19/1982)
    • False Imprisonment (09/25/1980)

    • Lifetime GPS monitoring
    • Compliance with lifetime sex offender registry requirements

Eric Fankhauser

Joshua J. Johnson
