BARRON COUNTY -- In a targeted operation spanning several weeks, the Barron County Drug Unit conducted an undercover investigation leading to a significant arrest and seizure of illicit substances. According to a press release from the Barron County Sheriff's Office, David Anderson, 33, a resident of Rice Lake, was apprehended on Friday, April 19, 2024, following the issuance of a search warrant at his residence.

Over the past several weeks, the Barron County Drug Unit worked an undercover drug operation in the county. As a result of that investigation a subject was taken into custody and a search warrant was served on a residence.
David Anderson, 33 of Rice Lake, was arrested on Friday, April 19, 2024, and a search warrant was served at his residence. Over 211 grams of meth were seized with a street value of over $15,000 dollars.
Mr. Anderson is being held in the Barron County Jail on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Meth and Felony Bail Jumping.
