MADISON, WI – State Rep. Dave Armstrong (R-Rice Lake) took his third oath of office as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly at a ceremony in the State Capitol’s Assembly chambers.

Armstrong was first elected as Representative for the 75th Assembly District in 2020 and was reelected in 2022. Following redistricting in 2024, he was elected as Representative for the 67th Assembly District. The new 67th District includes Barron County, northern Dunn County, and the Village of New Auburn and the Town of Auburn in Chippewa County.

“It’s an honor to once again serve the residents of Barron County as their voice in Madison, and I look forward to working on behalf of Dunn and Chippewa counties this session,” Armstrong said. “I am excited to continue my work on improving economic development opportunities and access to affordable housing and childcare.”

Representative Armstrong will chair the Assembly Committee on Small Business Development during the 2025-2026 legislative session. He will also serve on the following committees:

  • Assembly Committee on Housing and Real Estate
  • Assembly Committee on Jobs and Economy
  • Assembly Committee on Rural Development (vice chair)
  • Assembly Committee on Ways and Means
  • Assembly Committee on Workforce Development, Labor, and Integrated Employment
