At Doc’s Harley-Davidson in Bonduel Saturday, the usual sounds of freedom rang through the air as motorcycles came and went from the famous dealership along Highway 29. But in the back of the property, past the alligator pen, the goats, the pigs, and even the emus at the small zoo, the real noise was taking place inside the barn where haggling for deals on guns, ammunition, parts, and supplies was interspersed with complaints about the effects of inflation on everything visitors were looking for.
Just outside the doors, Americans for Prosperity set up shop with a table of free t-shirts, hats, stickers, and other items and talked with visitors about a better path forward. Mary Naidl of Whitelaw understands the assignment.
“It’s everything, from the border to inflation to the mess that’s going on with what they’re doing to veterans and what they’re taking away from the elderly, our country is a mess right now and unless we get the right people back in, it’s not going to get better.”
This week Americans for Prosperity launched bidenomics.com to show Americans how bad the Biden administration’s economic policies are hurting us from the grocery store to the gas pump.
Like other Prosperity is Possible events Americans for Prosperity is hosting around the state, visitors to the table in Bonduel echoed a similar refrain that is building across Wisconsin and the country. Biden must go and we must send a clear message to our elected officials that we demand fiscal responsibility and less government interference.
As people like Gene, a retired resident from Shawano shared, “The wants went out the window a long time ago and now we’re just trying to stay afloat,” with the crushing effects of the Biden administrations economic policies.
Americans for Prosperity believes freedom and opportunity are the keys to unleashing prosperity for all. We are a community of millions of concerned citizens advocating for solutions based on proven principles to tackle the country's most critical challenges. We have open positions for volunteer, part-time and full-time work to help us help fight for prosperity for all Americans.
