BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A repeat drunk driver sparked a dangerous high-speed chase through Burnett County in August 2023, crashing into a police squad and narrowly avoiding disaster before being arrested.
Robert Canfield, now age 36 and already convicted six times for operating while intoxicated, pleaded guilty during a recent court hearing to seventh-offense felony OWI and fleeing from law enforcement, and was sentenced.
