A Webster, WI man has been sentenced to 60 days county jail regarding a conviction for 3rd Offense OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) in Washburn County Circuit Court. The Court ordered that he also serve 2 years on probation for a conviction of Possession of Methamphetamine in the same case.

Online circuit court records show that Jesse Casady was sentenced on November 6, 2017, in Washburn County Circuit Court regarding criminal charges that stemmed from an incident which occurred in November 2016.

DrydenWire.com reported on February 6, 2017 that Jesse Casady had been charged with Class I Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Operating While Intoxicated (3rd Offense) following an investigation by the Washburn County Sheriff's Office into a complaint of a possible burglary on Pair O'Lakes Road in Trego Township that resulted in the arrest of Jesse Casady and Christopher Colegrove.

A call was received by Washburn County Dispatch on November 1, 2016. The caller stated that 2 unfamiliar vehicles were located on his property and that one of the suspects was carrying a golf club and behaving aggressively. Before law enforcement could get to the location, it was reported that the 2 suspects had left. 

While deputies were still en route to the location, Casady was located driving in the area of the incident reported. During the course of placing Casady under arrest, deputies found methamphetamine.

Another vehicle which matched the description given by the complainant was located a short time later at the Tadpole Mini Storage Facility west of Trego, WI. Deputies located Christopher Colegrove and placed him under arrest. Deputies also found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in that vehicle.

According to online circuit court records, on September 7, 2017, Casady entered a plea of guilty to his charges of Class I Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Operating While Intoxicated - 3rd Offense. The charge of Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was dismissed but read in by the Court for consideration in sentencing Casady. An additional charge of Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration was Merged and Dismissed. 

At his sentencing hearing on November 6, 2017, Casady was ordered to serve 60 days in county jail for the conviction of OWI-3rd Offense, with credit for 13 days previously served. Casady will also be on probation for a period of 2 years under the supervision of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole. The Court ordered Casady to pay nearly $1,800 in fines, and his driver's license will be revoked for 24 months. 

Colegrove was facing charges of Misdemeanor Operating After Revocation as a well as a charge of OWI-2nd Offense in a separate case. Online circuit court records show that on August 28, 2017, a conviction was entered for Colegrove to an amended charge of non-criminal Reckless Driving-Endanger Safety (reduced from the original charge of OWI-2nd) and his charge of Misdemeanor Operating after Revocation was dismissed on that same date.

Jesse Casady of Webster, WI, appeared in Washburn County Circuit Court on Monday, February 6, 2017 on charges of Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Operating a Motor Vehicle While intoxicated, 3^rd Offense in Washburn County Circuit Court based on an incident which occurred in November 2016.

According to public records obtained and reviewed by DrydenWire.com, Washburn County Sheriff's Office Dispatch received a complaint on November 1, 2016 of a possible burglary in progress on Pair O'Lakes Road in Trego Township, Washburn County. The complainant reported that two unfamiliar vehicles were parked on his property and that one of the suspects was carrying a golf club and behaving aggressively.

While Washburn County Sheriff's Deputies were en route to the address on Pair O'Lakes Road, it was reported that the 2 suspects lefts that location. Dispatch advised deputies of this, and shortly after that, a Deputy spotted a white Ford Fusion on Ricci Road which matched the description of one of the suspect vehicles. The Fusion was swerving from side to side and the Deputy activated his squad car's emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop, however, the driver of the Ford Fusion would not stop.

At the end of Ricci Road, the driver of the Ford Fusion did a complete turnaround and the Sheriff's Office squad vehicle was then facing the Fusion head on. When the driver did finally stop, the Deputy immediately exited the squad car and drew his handgun instructing the driver to show his hands. The driver was behaving erratically and speaking in an agitated manner to the deputy.

After deputies took the driver into custody, he identified himself as Jesse Casady. Deputies searched Casady and his vehicle due to the burglary complaint; during the search, methamphetamine was located inside Casady's vehicle.

Casady advised deputies that the other reported vehicle was driven by a co-worker of his and that they had been on their way to Minong, WI.

Another deputy made contact with a black Dodge Ram Charger, which matched the description of the second vehicle given by the complainant, at the Tadpole Mini Storage Facility located west of Trego, WI. The driver of that vehicle was identified as Christopher Colegrove, of Minong, WI.

Deputies located a 'drug kit' outside the Storage Unit including razors, a mirror, and a small amount of white substance which tested positive for methamphetamine outside the storage unit facility.

Casady is due to appear again in Washburn County Circuit Court on March 27, 2017.

According to public record, Colegrove was charged on November 10, 2016, with Operating After Revocation and also has charges pending in Washburn County Circuit Court for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, 2^nd Offense, filed in March 2016. Colegrove is due to appear again on March 6, 2017.
