POLK COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A former special education paraprofessional with the Amery School District is facing felony charges in Polk County Circuit Court for allegedly sending nude photographs of herself to one of her juvenile students.
Charges of Exposing a Child to Harmful Material were filed against Sarah Monson, age 35, following the Polk County Sheriff’s Office investigation. The Amery School District told DrydenWire on Monday that Monson was hired on August 22, 2023, placed on administrative leave on February 6, 2024, and her employment was terminated on February 19, 2024.
