SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A criminal complaint was filed in 2022 in Sawyer County Circuit Court against 33-year-old Cody Dewitt, charging him with sexual assault against a female victim under the age of 16 on multiple occasions. The investigation into the sexual assaults occurred after law enforcement became aware of conversations that Dewitt was having with the underage female. Dewitt was recently sentenced on a conviction from the case.
